  5. This archive contains the EC v3.0b compilers (demo and registered,
  6. as patches). This is a quick fix of the various bugs that popped up
  7. in v3.0a (bugs were to be expected, as this was such a HUGE update)
  8.  
  9. Bugs fixed in v3.0b (nearly all were tiny problems, with great consequences!)
  10. - internal errors on 68000 systems
  11. - problems with inherited methods
  12. - modules could have 4 superfluous bytes of code in them
  13. - default arguments in modules could get lost
  14. - method redefinition could cause double declaration errors
  15. - ptr's to <object> in objects in modules would get lost [now ec will
  16.   try to find the correct object, else type = LONG]
  17.  
  18. Other bugs are being taken care of, but are mostly not that urgent.
  19.  
  20. The programs 'ecpatch' and 'ecdemopatch' will read 'ec' or 'ecdemo'
  21. in the current dir and output the new v30b.
